Stanserhorn

We pick you up at the hotel and drive directly to the valley station in Stans and get you the tickets. If you wish, our chauffeur will accompany you and show you the attractions on the Stanserhorn, invite you to a guided tour and show you the fauna and flora, rare alpine flowers and the circling eagles. If you’d like to hike, our guide will be happy to take you down the east slope of Chli Horn. A short detour to the Holzwang chapel on the Ächerlipass is definitely worth it, from there you can enjoy a wonderful view towards Obwalden. We continue hiking in the direction of the Wirzwelibahn mountain station, the summer toboggan run and the playground make children’s hearts beat faster. We take the cable car to Dallenwil, take the shuttle bus to the train station and then back to Stans.

Next to the delta starting point on the Stanserhorn are the crowd’s favourites, the marmots in an enclosure.

Of course, you can also hike down from the Stanserhorn, fly back with a paraglider or race down into the valley on a mountain bike.

Our tip: A spectacular convertible train, the Stanserhorn, the cabin holds 60 people, including 30 people on the upper deck, which you can reach via a spiral staircase during the journey. At the top of the Stanserhorn you have a stunning view of the surrounding mountains, the Buchs airfield and the surrounding villages along Lake Lucerne.
