Tour

From Interlaken we drive into the Lauterbrunner valley and keep left to Grindelwald. Even before Grindelwald we are impressed by the north face of the Eiger on the right, almost within reach. When we arrive at the Dorfstrasse we have countless photo opportunities, in the background the Mettenberg and the Wetterhorn at almost 4,000 m. And all the mountains are impressively close to the village. With the Pfingstegg cable car we enjoy a wonderful view over Grindelwald, to the left the north face of the Eiger and to the right the First. After a one-hour hike above the glacier gorge, you reach the lower glacier and can view the glacier from the restaurant.

After a demanding but impressive hike along the Wetterhorn, you will reach the Glecksteinhütte (2,317 m) with a view of the upper glacier.

From Grindelwald you can take the Firstbahn up to over 2,200 m with a wonderful view of the mountain panorama and the world-famous triumvirate “Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau”.

From Grindelwald Grund, you can take the Eiger Express or the Jungfrau Railway to the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe.

Numerous sports can be practiced in Grindelwald, such as paragliding, parachuting, tobogganing, skiing, tobogganing, hiking, climbing (on rock and on various via ferratas), mountain biking, rafting, bungee jumping and etc..
